This site aims to meet WCAG 2.2 AA. That is a floor rather than an ambition, and there are places it is not met yet — they are listed below rather than hidden.
What is in place
- Every colour pairing is checked against the contrast minimums, at the smallest size the type is ever rendered.
- The site works at 400% zoom without horizontal scrolling.
- Every control is reachable and operable with a keyboard, and focus is always visible.
- Images that carry meaning have alternative text; decorative images are marked as decorative.
- Motion respects the reduced-motion setting in your operating system.
Known gaps
- Some older recipe posts have thin alternative text on step photographs.
- The video embeds rely on the provider’s own player, whose captions we do not control.
