City weddings abroad have a rhythm of their own. You are always moving, and the city keeps handing you backgrounds you could not have booked.
Walk between everything
We walked from the ceremony to dinner through four streets and I did not put the camera down once. Cars are efficient and produce nothing. If the distance is walkable, walk it, and give it fifteen minutes more than it needs.
The first dance was on a rooftop at eleven, under bulb lights, with the whole lit city behind them. I have photographed nine hundred first dances and I can count the ones like that on one hand.
